Isaiah 39:1-41:18 / Ephesians 1:1-23 / Psalm 66:1-20 / Proverbs 23:25-28

Standout verse: Isaiah 40:10, 13“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (v. 13) For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying, ‘fear not, I will help you.” Standout verse:

Isaiah 40:28-29“The everlasting God, the Lord, the creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints, nor is weary.  His understanding is unsearchable.  He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might, He increases strength.”Standout verse:Isaiah 40:31“But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not grow faint.”

A continuing the theme of “strengthening the weary” (from yesterday)…

These encouraging verses are more evidence of God’s desire to walk with us through tough times and strengthen us so we can overcome any obstacle. Verse 28 reminds us that our God is never “off the clock” and He never gets fatigued – He is always ready to empower anyone who cries out to Him understanding that His strength is abundant and life-giving while human strength is limited and finite at best.

Our loving Father promises that even in the midst of difficulties, when we look to Him for refreshment and filling, He will provide for us and never let us fall.  He is steadfast, faithful, and ever-present. He sees us exactly where we are and will continue to provide us with all we need to walk through the season we are in.  In the times we feel the most empty and weak, He will fill us and strengthen us with His Spirit of peace, power and endurance as we seek Him.

His vision for us is that we would SOAR LIKE EAGLES and RUN WITH ENDURANCE this race (Our Life!) set before us!
