Isaiah 57:14-59:21 / Philippians 1:1-26 / Psalm 71:1-24 / Proverbs 24:9-10

Standout verse:Isaiah 58:10-11“If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. THE LORD WILL GUIDE YOU CONTINUALLY AND SHALL SATISFY YOUR SOUL IN DROUGHT AND STRENGTHEN YOUR BONES. YOU SHALL BE LIKE A WATERED GARDEN, AND LIKE A SPRING OF WATER, WHOSE WATERS DO NOT FAIL.”

What a beautiful, hope-filled picture!  Our Heavenly Father’s vision for our lives is SO ABUNDANT:

…a well-watered garden, healthy, continuing to grow (roots deeper, leaves greener), living “in the light”, satisfied and strengthened even in drought, our source (the Lord) never failing.

How awesome is that?  It’s hard to read great truth like that and not get excited!

This is our Father’s heart for us – it’s what He offers those who seek Him WHOLEHEARTEDLY!  When God is our source, we are supernaturally enabled to love and serve others from a place of authenticity only He can stir within us. We can approach any situation standing on His promise to fill us, strengthen us, light our path, and complete His work in us and through us!

Let’s embrace this wonderful truth and not grow weary - ENCOURAGED AND INSPIRED TO CONTINUE WALKING STRONG!
