Isaiah 10:1-11:16 / 2 Corinthians 12:11-21 / Psalm 56:1-13 / Proverbs 23:6-8

Standout verse:
Psalm 56:3“Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.  In God (I will praise His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear.  What can flesh (man) do to me?”

At times we all face fearful or uncertain circumstances.  It is during these times God calls us to stand down the threat of our circumstances and walk, filled with faith, believing that God is greater and more powerful than anything that would come against us.  The battleground for our emotions is our minds.  It is there that the battle takes place and we must be equipped with truth if we hope to win.  Truth is found in God’s word.  That’s why it is so critical that we fill ourselves with it (each and every day!) and know it so we can stand on it, steadfast and unshakeable, when we face painful or difficult challenges.  When we are feeding on God’s truth, our faith rises.  When our faith rises we will be much stronger and more equipped to extinguish the fiery arrows of doubt and fear that the enemy wants to take us out with. Today, whatever we face, let’s choose to stand on God’s truth, promises and past provision in our lives…strong, fearless, faith-filled!
