Deuteronomy 11:1-12:32 / Luke 8:22-39 / Psalm 70:1-5 / Proverbs 12:4

Standout Verse: Deuteronomy 12:28

“Observe and obey all these words which I command you, THAT IT MAY GO WELL WITH YOU and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the sight of your God.”

Again, a great example of how our God loves simple equations.  Chapter 11 outlines God’s “blessings for obedience” and “curses for disobedience”.  Basically, when we stay “in the lines” of the things God calls us to do (obedience) and when we love Him and serve Him with our hearts (for real, not just in words or ideals), THINGS GO WELL.

If we choose to walk in disobedience to the things He calls us to and when our hearts are far from Him, the opposite is true – THINGS DON”T GO WELL.

God is straight forward and uncomplicated.  We must be people who are yielded and passionate in our pursuit of our Heavenly Father. As we seek Him, grow in our knowledge and understanding of who He is and live in relationship with Him, we can know that He is with us, leading and guiding all the way THAT IT MAY GO WELL WITH US!
