Numbers 36:1-Deuteronomy 1:46 / Luke 5:29-6:11 / Psalm 66:1-20 / Proverbs 11:24-26
“For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs. You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but You brought us into rich fulfillment.”
When challenges and trials come (and they will), let us see them as God sees them – not as a time to give up and get beat down, but as a time to press into Him in new ways that we may not have seen before. Challenges and difficulties can fire start new, deeper levels of faith…this is His goal for us in the Refiner’s Fire.
His heart for us is that our roots grow deeper in Him and that we emerge from difficulties stronger, more steadfast and greener than we were prior to those times of testing. Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to become the people He created us to be. He wants to bring us into rich fulfillment because He so deeply loves us.
